Pound for pound, the best TV drama for me is FX’s "Sons of Anarchy."
For pure heart, sex, violence, fraternity, family, love and loyalty, these grand, great human themes appeal to bikers and college professors, housewives, grandmas and executives.
The Charming MC tale is told with flourish and sly humor that makes the socio-economic and geographically diverse SOA audience hang on to every episode.

Season 3 ended with the MC going off to prison. Season 4 picks up in Charming post prison, and based on some cast tweets, there are lots of secrets, changes and loyalties tested and revealed.

The series has that rare ensemble and casting perfection with stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman, Kim Coates, Theo Rossi, William Lucking, Dayton Callie, Maggie Siff, Michael Marisi Ornstein, Ryan Hurst, Mark Boone Junior, Mitch Pileggi, Tommy Flanagan, Winter Ave Zoli, David Labrava, McNally Sagal, Christopher Douglas Reed, Kristen Renton, Cleo King, Kurt Sutter, Kenny Johnson and so many more.

Guest stars this season include the feral beauty Debi Mazar as a parole officer, Rockmond Dunbar (Terriers) as a new sheriff, Danny Trejo as a Mexican military commando Romero ‘Romeo’ Parada, plus LaMonica Garrett and Fernanda Andrade.

Academic and actor Peter Weller (Dexter, Robocop) directed an episode of S4 too.

The fourth season rolls back in my birthday month of September (no better present) and the season dives head first into intense Charming drama with the club bonds, history and as cast member Theo Rossi (Juice) describes in the video below, a season of "character, character, character" intensity.

Wedding bells will ring for the stoic biker, Opie (Ryan Hurst) and his soft-core porn single mom Lyla (Winter Ave Zoli).

And on Twitter, little rays of light are emitted occasionally by showrunner Kurt Sutter (@sutterink) who just tweeted this:
"This season breaks my heart... just a little. beginning of act 2, laying track to the final act..."

Does that means somebody is going to die?

Here is the only S4 trailer so far:
AND bonus USO footage from last year and WTF Sutter footage as Theo Rossi talks about Juice's fetishes, (not underwear sniffing) and his favorite scene? The infamous "taking one for the team" S2 prison scene.
Rossi says Juice's loyalty is a quality most like his own. Plus he discusses his admiration for S2 guest star Henry Rollins, and how the SOA cast USO tour was created. INTERVIEWS More_links
