Ned (Sean Bean) makes a fateful decision; Robb takes a prized prisoner; Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) finds her reign imperiled. Written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss; directed by Alan Taylor.

The story, penned by George R.R. Martin, sees House Lannister kill off the Stark guard at King’s Landing after King Robert's death.

Arya (Maisie Williams) pokes a stable boy with Needle. And Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) finally gets the fight he’s been spoiling for, ripping out Mago’s tongue in a after he insults his Khaleesi.

Life in the North is looking particularly awfully bleak as the White Walkers arrive, and Wilding prisoner Osha gets an eyeful of Hodor’s wedding tackle.

Will Ned survive Cersei’s clutches? Me thinks so.
