Barry Manilow and Suzanne Somers to plan each other’s funerals (VIDEO)

Barry Manilow and “The Talk” guest co-host Suzanne Somers reveal an agreement they’ve made as longtime friends to plan the funeral for “whoever goes first.”

Plus, Barry performs a medley of his greatest hits chosen by the hosts.

Julie: “All right, Barry, I don’t know if everybody knows…but we know that you and Suzanne are BFFS, and what is this I hear about –“

Barry plays piano.

Barry: “You mind if I underscore?”

Julie: “No, no, I love it.  Do your thing.  But what is this I heard about you guys have planned each others’ funerals?”

Barry:  “Ahhh, have you told them that?”

Suzanne Somers: “Well, remember we went –“

Barry: “We went to a funeral –“

Suzanne: “Right.”

Barry: “—And it was beautiful, remember?”

Suzanne:  “Yeah, but we said, ‘Oh, he’d hate his funeral.”

Barry: “Yeah, no, there was one that was beautiful, and then, yeah, there was that one.”

Suzanne: “Right.”

Barry: “But we said somebody should plan our funerals when we go, so we made a deal that if I go first she’ll plan my funeral, and if she goes first I’ll produce hers.”

The audience laughs and cheers.

Barry: “You know, what music we would choose, and who would we like to talk.”

Suzanne: “Right. You know, I write about living forever, but it makes me want to die before you, because I –“

Barry: “No, no, no, no …”

Holly Robinson Peete: “Well, whichever one of you goes first, can we be invited, please, because that sounds like a good funeral.”
