Laurence Fishburne severs ties to CSI role

Laurence Fishburne is done with CBS\' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

Deadline.com reported that Fishburne has decided not to renew his contract with the long-running procedural.
Fishburne is reportedly set to focus on his movie career.
"CSI" hired Fishburne after popular actor William Petersen's departure.
Fishburne was recently in "Predators" and "Armored." Fishburne will also appear in Steven Soderbergh's thriller "Contagion."
