Padma makes a guest appearance on tonight's Top Chef Masters

Here are tonight's previews for Top Chef Masters, with a cameo by our favorite food critic, Padma Lakshmi!

The competition is really heating up and this week, the 'Masters' must create an elevated dish in their tried-and-true style, but the catch?  They must cook everything using a microwave! 

How will they fare when dealing with this device?  And for the Elimination Round, it's back to high school for the chefs when they must turn to science as they participate in an "edible science fair." 

Will they be able to teach the students a little something about science while whetting their palates?  And what will guest judge Padma Lakshmi think of the chefs' food?
