Season 11 Contestants Return to Show Off Their Amazing Transformations and Combined Total Weight Loss of Over 2700 Pounds!

In an exciting, two-hour live finale on Tuesday, May 24 (8-10 p.m. ET), the winner of NBC’s hit series “The Biggest Loser: Couples” will finally be revealed, along with the incredible transformations of the season eleven contestants. And in the first part of the show, the third finalist – as determined by America’s vote – will also be revealed. Plus, host Alison Sweeney will make a big surprise announcement about season 12 of the series, which will premiere in September on NBC.

Contestants from season eleven will return for the finale to weigh in one last time and show America how much weight they’ve lost since the beginning of their weight-loss journeys. The transformations will be profound, not just for the finalists, but also for the eliminated contestants who all continued to lose weight after returning home from “The Biggest Loser” ranch.

In the most recent episode that aired on May 17, “purple team” sisters Olivia Ward (New York New York) and Hannah Curlee (Nashville, Tennessee) weighed in above the yellow line, securing their spots as two of this season’s three finalists. Contestants Irene Alvarado (Portland, Oregon) and Jay Jacobs (West Orange, New Jersey) fell below the yellow line, leaving America to choose between them to determine the third place finalist competing alongside Olivia and Hannah for the $250,000 grand prize. Viewers can vote online at www.nbc.com from now through Monday, May 23 at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Fans were also able to vote via the NBC Live interactive experience during last Tuesday's broadcast. Fans can interact during the BL Finale live via NBC Live to get exclusive behind the scenes info and chat with other fans in real time while watching the show on TV. NBC Live is available online at nbc.com and as an app for the iPad.

America’s choice will be revealed in the first part of the finale on May 24, and the contestant who didn’t get chosen will compete with the other eliminated players for an “at home” prize of $100,000. Then it’s the moment viewers have been waiting for, when one of the three finalists will be named this season’s “Biggest Loser” and win the coveted grand prize of $250,000!

And host Alison Sweeney will also be making an exciting surprise announcement about season 12 of the series during the live finale.
