MTV's mook like me series "Jersey Shore" heads to old Italy. Florence exactly.
All I want to know is, what treasured landmark will Snooki barf on? The Palazzo Vecchio? The Museo dell' Opera del Duomo? I am betting the vomitorium action will be at the Boboli Gardens, as she probably will think that was the birthplace of the Boboli bread shells that hang in US grocery stores.
Gym, tan, laundry is translated to Gym prendere il sole, Lavanderia and it seems the average Italians are amused and ready for the traveling clown car that arrived from Seaside Heights, N.J.
People interviewed the cast, and Ronnie Magro shared he was boning up on Italian.
"I need to know how to order grilled chicken when I get down there," he said. "I can't have pasta every day!"
The diminutive drinker, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Chilean by birth, not Italian, will also be trying to pick up a few phrases. What does "smoosh" and "I have to poop" translate to in Italian?
