Oxygen sucked out of press day: Paris Hilton given another reality TV show

Years of scandalous behavior, devolving into the natural order of being usurped for headlines by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and new young pretties, aging reality TV star Paris Hilton is being bet on again for a TV show by Oxygen.

The nadir of NBC's press day in Pasadena on Friday, April 15, was undoubtedly the panel that featured Paris Hilton, mother AND co-star Kathy Hilton and series executive producer Arthur Smith.

Hilton will show the real Paris, not the oops this isn't my drug stash in... hey this isn't my purse, officer! Paris.  But will focus on the business Svengali Paris who is perhaps sitting at a desk, coming up with great media event ideas to keep her personal appearance fees rolling in.

"The World According to Paris" debuts on Oxygen this June.

"I would never have done a show like this five, ten years ago," admitted Hilton. "I wasn't really comfortable with myself. I have been through so much. I have nothing to hide. It's like, what else can happen? I was ready to show myself."
