Prince! Behind the Symbol –  The Africa Channel, the first mainstream television network in the U.S. fully dedicated to showcasing the richness, diversity and beauty of modern Africa and its people, is given unprecedented access to cover the behind-the-scenes excitement surrounding the kick-off of Prince’s Welcome 2 America Twenty-One Nite Stand in Los Angeles, titled Prince! Behind The Symbol. The half-hour TV special features exclusive Prince Concert and backstage footage. 

Program premieres on The Africa Channel on Sunday, April 17 at 9pm EST, with encore presentations on Tuesday, April 19th at 8pm EST; Wednesday, April 20 at 9pm EST and Saturday, April 23 at 10pm  EST.   

Among those featured in the backstage interviews are George Lopez, Evander Holyfield, Rosario Dawson, Shaun Robinson, and Boris Kudjoe.
