Dr. Drew tells Michael Lohan: 'Stop rescuing Lindsay' (VIDEO)

Dr. Drew (HLN) had Michael Lohan on the show in an exclusive interview. 

Dr. Drew told Michael Lohan that Lindsay needs to get away from everybody, including him.

Although Michael said that Lindsay’s sobriety is intact, Dr. Drew quickly warns that Lindsay must change her lifestyle to avoid past addictions.

“I think she needs to stand up as an adult and you need to not be in there rescuing her,” Drew told Michael.

Michael quickly responded to his advice.

“If I have to take a step back and Dina has to take a step back to let her have her life, I’m willing,” Michael said.

Towards the end of the interview, Dr. Drew told Michael to reach out to his ex-wife Dina…and he did:  “I will do anything, and I’m saying this on national television now, to make this right ... please help us help our children,” Michael pleaded.
