Donald Trump has got game, according to the Wall Street Journal.
And by game, I mean votes of confidence and climbing percentages of folks that like what they are hearing from the man who sent Dionne Warwick back to San Jose, and extinguished Richard Hatch's Tiki Torch on his NBC reality juggernaut, "Celebrity Apprentice."
According to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, Mitt Romney is the early front-runner with reality kingpin and mogul Donald Trump hot on his heels.
Trump's no-nonsense talk on China, Russia and how the world is laughing at us and OPEC is ripping America off hit some nerves:
The WSJ reports that Republican primary voters gave Romney 21% in a nine-candidate field. Trump tied Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 17%. House Speaker Newt Gingrich got 11%, just ahead of former Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s 10%. Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty came in at 6% support. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota had 5%, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum 3%, and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour nabbed just 1%.
