Pundit and polarizing personality Glenn Beck is leaving his on-air home at Fox News Channel.
His show may be going away, but Fox and Beck's company, Mercury Radio Arts, will collaborate on other projects.
Beck was a ratings Roman Candle on the network, and drew the Tea Party activists and staged an event at the National Mall in Washington last August for a "restoring honor" rally.
But Beck's comments about socialism in Church enraged some people (on March 2) : "I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words."
"Am I advising people to leave their church? Yes! If I am going to Jeremiah Wright's church ...If you have a priest that is pushing social justice, go find another parish. Go alert your bishop."
In closing, Beck told viewers: "I will continue to tell the story and I will be showing other ways for us to connect."
