Tonight was personal story night on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," as the contestants each bared their souls a bit and we learned more about who this eclectic cast is.
The Monday show was punctuate by a fall, as Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were dancing the rumba to "Over the Rainbow," a song that hearkened Alley's story of coming to LA to be an actress and her mother's death.
Unfortunately there was a slight fall when Maks' leg gave out in what looked like a charleyhorse in his thigh muscle.
Alley later Tweeted: @MaksimC .,, I salute u... U r a gladiator .... A champion... I'm honored to be your partner.
They both finished the dance, but Chmerkovskiy was in visible pain, "My thigh just gave out. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." The judges rated them 21 out of 30 points.
Tonight saw daytime chat show host Wendy Williams tell her tale of being a radio DJ and paying her dues in entertainment business by hard work, dedication and never giving up.
Pro wrestler Chris Jericho remembered his late Mother in a touching tribute, and danced to "Let it be."
Hines Ward also danced for his Mother, present in the audience. Romeo danced for his two late cousins he was very close to, both killed in childhood.
Ralph Macchio dance to celebrate his loving marriage. Petra Nemcova danced for her children's charity and reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson danced to celebrate her love for her husband Hank, not an easy road initially. Sugar Ray Leonard showed his fans how he overcame obstacles to become a World Boxing Champion.
