Hippest award show around: Kids' Choice Awards 2011

Johnny Depp does not show up for everything, but he makes time for Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2011.

Nick's Kid's Choice award show brings out the best in a lot of A-lister types, and for 23 years, Nickelodeon's Awards has been an event in which celebrities have gamely allowed the producers to cover them in green slime or induct them= into the Arm Fart Hall of Fame.

Host Jack Black did what he does best, sing an over-the-top musical bit. He's a dad now and just fits right in to the spirit of the show.

The first award of the evening was doled out to Depp who took it for the candy colored visual film, "Alice in Wonderland." Depp ended his acceptance with, "You guys are the future; take good care of us."

"Arthur" actor Russell Brand and "Modern Family" star Rico Rodriguez presented the award for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie, going to Eddie Murphy.

Slimed on his way off stage, Brand said, "I'm never having children...I am English! I am your leader! You must not do this, I am royalty! You are all going to juvenile hall. You children are going to prison. You are bad children!"

Slimed stars included Heidi Klum, Jason Segel, Snoop Doog — but not Willow Smith (age 10) who performed her hits "21st Century Girl" and "Whip My Hair."

Miley Cyrus took the honor for Favorite Movie Actress for "The Last Song."

The Big Help Award went to singer/actor Justin Timberlake for work with the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Kourtney and Kim Kardashian bestowed an award to the Favorite TV Show, Nickelodeon hit "iCarly."
