Sayonara time for 'Idol' Finalists Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia

Sayonara time for "Idol" Finalists Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia, whose performances won them the lowest votes, and they were subsequently booted off the show.
But the two will fall upwards, booked on Jay Leno's show Friday. Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia are scheduled to appear on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Friday, April 1 (11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m. ET).
In following weeks the contestant who garners the least number of votes will say good-bye to 'Idol' on Thursday night and take the stage with Leno for an appearance on Friday.

On Wednesday’s performance show, the Top 11 performed the songs of Elton John, and Adedapo, 26, from Milwaukee, WI, sang “I’m Still Standing,” and Megia, 16, from Hayward, CA, sang “Daniel.”
The segment with S3 winner Fantasia was..interesting, and red and sparkly. Also performing were will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas and Academy Award and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx.
Wednesday, April 6 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 9 finalists – Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Haley Reinhart and Pia Toscano – return to sing songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jeff Beck will mentor, who will be performing with Ray Chew and the AI band.
Tune in the following night, Thursday, April 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), to the live results show to find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who is sent home. Constantine Maroulis will return to stage to perform.
