Tom Hanks returns to primetime, 30 Rock guest star role announced

More a film actor these last few decades than smallscreen, Hanks has also delivered the voice talents of Woody the cowboy in Pixar’s Toy Story franchise. Hanks served as a director and producer on the HBO miniseries "From Earth to the Moon," "The Pacific," and "Band of Brothers."
Hanks' currently filming "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close," with Sandra Bullock in New York.
The film follows a 9-year-old boy who searches for the key to the mysterious lock left by his father (Hanks) who was killed in the September 11th attacks.
