Ed Harris is cast as John McCain, set to star opposite Julianne Moore, who will play Sarah Palin in HBO's upcoming film, "Game Change."
This HBO effort will dramatize the incredible 2008 presidential campaign that thrust Sarah Palin, the Alaskan Governor relatively unknown outside of her state as the running mate to McCain.
Palin's family life and more rigid conservatism was a sharp contrast to McCain's "maverick" approach to the GOP, more Libertarian than hard-line conservative in his approach.
During their campaign it was discovered that Palin's high school daughter Bristol was pregnant.
The project is based on the eponymous bestselling book by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin.
It will be directed by Jay Roach, with a script from Danny Strong, of "Recount" fame for HBO.
