Social media fuels Charlie Sheen's intern race into round three, 250 hopefuls

A good publicist friend of Monsters and Critcs just sent us an email announcing her third round seat selection out of 250 people for the coveted position of being the new assistant for Charlie Sheen.

The PR whiz is an ace at social media, and it seems as though that medium - Twitter, Facebook and YouTube - are feeding and informing the ravenous fans of Sheen and bedeviling old media types who are Team Lorre, CBS and Warner Bros., trying to diminish any positive spin on the aftermath of Sheen's war on "Two and a Half Men," a top comedy series that employed many people.

Also in the news is a An NYU Law student named Eli Northrup and his band "Pants Velour" had created a hot Charlie Sheen parody rap, "Always Winning."

Sheen fans are flocking to hear the story from the Warlock himself during the actor's sold out two-night stand at Radio City Music Hall on April 8 and 10.
