Charlie Sheen makes surprise appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' (VIDEO)

Dropping in on pal Mark Cuban, who had just called Charlie Sheen a "smart guy" describing his friend and potential business partner, was Sheen himself, who made a surprise appearance during last night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" taping.

Cheers and whoops greeted Sheen, who was bearing gifts for Kimmel as he delighted Kimmel's approvingly enthusiastic audience.

Kimmel was interviewing Mark Cuban of ABC's "Shark Tank" about an hour and a half ago.

The JKL was the musical guest of the night.

Sheen seems to be spinning the media to his advantage as unsubstantiated rumors of networks courting him are flooding the wires. Sheen is winning on the live booking circuit, selling out date after date of his "Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option" tour.
