In the response to our call to action yesterday on which actress filled the bill for Wonder Woman, readers overwhelmingly chose Lynda Carter, the 1970s original who first appeared on the smallscreen.
Carter has been supportive of Palicki, even telling The Hollywood Reporter: "What's not to like! Adrianne [Palicki] looks gorgeous and I'm really looking forward to seeing David E. Kelley's new series."
Many of you wrote in regarding this.
Liz Scott wrote: "It is obvious that the network has run out of fresh new ideas for new shows!! Some things are better left untouched and never done again. Team Carter for me!!! This new chick, come on now, really??? She really does look like she is ready to go for a lap dance and then some. Linda was a classy woman and very much a lady. This new, way too sexy look is way too over done and overshadows who Wonder Woman really is. If there ever be a woman president, she should be a lady, a realy 1st class lady like Linda Carter and the 70's version of Wonder Woman."
Robert Fox wrote: "Team Carter.. that other one is ALL wrong.. she's wearing pants not shorts, she's not sporting any white stars, her bracelets are WAY too big, her headband is pointing the WRONG way, her lipstick is far too obvious. The "pleather" outfit is just hideous.. AND Carter's W.W. had a look that would lure you in before she kicked your butt. Palicki has a dead-serious confidence that makes me want to keep-back 500 feet."

Do you feel the costume and makeup need tweaking, or are you happy with the new Wonder Woman styling by NBC? Talk back and share you opinion on this female crime fighting icon!
