Simon Cowell finalizes X Factor judges: L.A. Reid selected

L.A. Reid will be a judge on The X-Factor.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the story that the Island Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid is Simon's pick after months of speculation.
THR claims "it's a done deal."
Reid is now part of the reality competition that gives a Sony Music recording contract worth $5 million to the winner. Auditions for X-Factor begin on March 27 in Los Angeles.
THR reports that he will likely land a position at Sony Music too.
