Matt Damon and PBS bring Plan B on March 30, preview

Tune in alert and preview, on March 30th, PBS will premiere PLAN B: Mobilizing to Save Civilization, a new documentary about the pioneering environmentalist Lester Brown.
Brown is the founder of the Earth Policy Institute and the creator of PLAN B, a blueprint for solving many of the environmental problems that plague the planet. In the special, which also features economist Paul Krugman, writer Thomas Friedman and others, Brown explains how reducing greenhouse gases could also lower our income tax, create jobs, and stem the rise of terrorism.
Hosted by Matt Damon and produced by Emmy-Award winning filmmakers Marilyn and Hal Weiner, PLAN B is shot on location around the world, the film's message is clear and unflinching - either confront the realities of climate change or suffer the consequences of lost civilizations and failed states.
Plan B provides audiences with a glimpse into a new and emerging economy based upon renewable sources as well as realistic strategies to avoid the growing threat of global warming.
Locations include China, Japan, South Korea, India, Italy, Turkey, Bangladesh, Zambia, Haiti, and the United States.
