Chelsea Handler hits the road for comedy tour

Comedian Chelsea Handler is taking her brand of comedy no the road for her 2011 ‘Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me’ tour. “Chelsea Lately” regulars Brad Wollack, Josh Wolf and Heather McDonald will join the comedian for the 19 date stand-up tour - which kicks off on May 10th in Boston.

The new tour dates come on the heels of her 2010 ‘Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang’ sold out tour - which was extended three times and drew more than 250,000 fans in 44 markets. The tour also grossed more than $16 million.

Handler’s fourth book, Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me, is set for release on May 10, 2011, and is her first book with her own imprint, Borderline Amazing/A Chelsea Handler Book – which is a division of Grand Central Publishing.

The new book is a collection of stories by her friends and family about the ridiculous lies Handler has told them over the years. The three comedians performing with Handler on the tour wrote chapters for the book and are a writer on Handler’s hit show Chelsea Lately - which is consistently the highest rated program on the E! Network.  Each tour stop will include a signing session in support of the new book.
