Curious minds want to know, would a weepy, hand-wringing over-the-top reality TV show about the felled Royal, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, make you tune in to your telly?
Allegedly uber producer and network chieftain Oprah Winfrey is not amused by the current Fergie footage in the can, and reported has delayed Fergie's TV show because it's 'too boring,' according to the DailyMail
The show, ‘Finding Sarah’ is the spin-off her infamous Oprah show where the red-headed mother of two grown girls tearfully relived the shame of her drunken efforts as she was caught trying to sell access to her former husband Prince Andrew for 500,000 last May.
The six-part series was reportedly pushed back to the summer. Winfrey allegedly nixed the series for an earlier premiere based on the lack of compelling footage.
The Daily Mail source said: 'Oprah wasn’t happy with the show. She found it boring in parts and has ordered re shoots to make it harder hitting and more revealing.'
The production has shot Ferguson living her life in New York and Los Angeles. The Duchess reportedly has been receiving Oprah-crafted torture from the self-help troika that orbit in the Winfrey Universe: Dr Phil McGraw, financial advisor Suze Orman and life coach Martha Beck.
More tears and drama are needed for the TV effort, according to the Mail report, as Fergie and her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are trying to carve out a new life in the USA.
An OWN Network spokesman released a statement to the Daily Mail refuting the "boring" remarks, saying "the OWN Network is very happy with the production of the show."
