Comedian Joan Rivers told FOX News to "go f**k themselves" after canceling her Thursday appearance on the network's morning show, according to Rob Shuter at PopEater.
Joan claims retaliation was enacted by the conservative network for her comments she made about FOX contributor Sarah Palin.
Rivers told Harvey Levin's TMZ.com the notion that language used by Palin was fair game to criticize, blaming the ex Governor of Alaska's rhetoric for the tragedy in Tucson, Ariz. This is despite numerous experts and journalists who report the shooter was mentally ill, and a left-leaning, marijuana smoking hater of the right, especially George W. Bush.
"We get a call this morning," Melissa Rvers, Joan's daughter, told PopEater. "You're canceled on FOX because of what you said about Sarah Palin."
FOX denies that Joan's comments had anything to do with the cancellation, claiming the show was overbooked.
Joan is willing to take a lie detector test to prove FOX canned her over her Palin comments according to Shuter, who called Palin "stupid and a threat" and blasting her use of the term "blood libel" in a video statement on Jan. 12.
When asked if she would go back to FOX & Friends,' Joan told Shuter that the bookers could "go f**k themselves."
