Strait is straight of Los Angeles, and was the only white guy among black guys in the neighborhood, then the only tall guy among short guys in the boxing gym.
The time is nigh for compiling all our end of year "best of" lists.
While Monsters & Critics editors are hashing over the stand-out television performances for the last year, we took time out to ask comic Chris Strait, one of comedy's most popular touring stand up acts, what his top ten list was for 2010.
Strait is straight of Los Angeles, and was the only white guy among black guys in the neighborhood, then the only tall guy among short guys in the boxing gym.
Headlining comedy clubs, private events, and colleges all over the U.S. and Canada, Strait is a fixture on the smallscreen too, appearing on E!, and as a weekly commentator on TruTV's "The Smoking Gun." He has also performed as a comedian on Playboy TV’s ‘Night Calls,” Starz channel, and hosted the National Lampoon Film “Lost Reality 2.”
Strait has also entertained the troops in the Middle East, Europe, Japan, and Cuba. In addition, Strait hosts his own internet boxing show at www.str8boxing.com. Check out his website for more details: link

Here is Chris Strait's Top Ten List for 2010: .
10) The state of New Jersey is in it's 14th minute of fame.
Nothing against the "Garden State". I have family there, and have had some good times and great shows there. However, this worship of the wrong things about it has given them more than enough of a taste of what we go through in Cali all the time. But for their sake, I'm glad it's almost over.
9) The Lakers won!
Back to back titles for the third time in my lifetime. The world makes sense again!
8) Sleep medication
I normally don't advocate it, and would still never take Ambien, but another one helped save my health and sanity.
7) Manny Pacquiao
Mayweather will still probably beat him when they fight... but Manny is fighting. Floyd is in court. Not hard to decide who to cheer for.
6) Porn
Every year they make money is a year that organized religion hasn't completed it's hostile takeover. Amen to that!
5) Becoming a cast member of "The Smoking Gun: World's Dumbest".
Late night TV is still showing my stand-up no love (they are not showing many stand-ups any love at all these days), but these producers got me, and they are on weekly. I am eternally grateful.
4) Mexican Food
I've loved it all my life. Never else am I so happy to be so stuffed... even if I order fish, they find a way to make me full.
3) My daughter
She is almost four, but I want her to know... from one first-born to another, she will not be replaced by the new baby.
2) Louis CK
I love Bill Maher for telling the truth in politics. Hardly anyone else is still sane in that arena. I love Doug Stanhope for his uncompromising style. I love Bill Burr for being undeniably hysterical. But Louis CK speaks my language. Nobody makes me laugh harder than that guy. His scene with Chelsea Peretti on his FX show is the greatest 'first date sequence' in TV history. Bar None!
1) Los Angeles
Still the greatest city on earth... no matter what the haters say. The most options for cuisine, weather, lifestyle, career, economy, religious and community preferences, entertainment, and with the nicest people you'll find in any ridiculously overcrowded metropolis. Let dumb people judge it incorrrectly based on the movie biz or uneducated earthquake rumors. After all, whatever keeps them away from us, is a great thing.
