Tom Arnold will ring in the New Year on Showtime with the debut of his first-ever stand-up comedy special, That's My Story, And I'm Sticking To It – premiering on Friday, December 31st at 9:00 PM (ET/PT).
From television, Arnold turned in a critically praised career in film (“True Lies,” “Nine Months,” “Hero”), and now revisits his stand up background as he satirizes his all American upbringing, his well-publicized marriage mistakes and the absurdity of Hollywood through mid-Western eyes.
His special is a Payaso Entertainment production, with Scott Montoya and Neal Marshall producing and Montoya directing. Montoya and Payaso previously brought the "Original Latin Divas" to Showtime that featured breakout Latina star, Monique Marvez.
Iowan by birth, Arnold triumphed at the Minneapolis Comedy Competition in 1988. He then moved to Los Angeles to write on the highly successful television series, “Roseanne,” before eventually serving as executive producer.
