Dexter and his sister Deb are splitsville.
Michael C. Hall, 39, and Jennifer Carpenter, 31, who are the Morgan siblings on Showtime series, have called it quits after nearly two years of marriage, reports UsMagazine.com.
"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," their reps announced in a shared statement to Entertainment Weekly, adding that the split was amicable.
The two became an item back in 2007, they announced in January 2009 that they eloped on New Year's Eve in California.
Hall underwent treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year.
In Season Five of "Dexter", Deborah (Carpenter) comes as close as she has so far to the real truth behind Dexter's "Dark Passenger."
