Imagine you are a single woman, relatively unknown, in a tiny Scottish town with a cat for a best friend and a voice that is as smooth as 18 year old Scotch?
Lucky Susan Boyle catapulted to stardom on British TV, and since then it has been a tug of war between her fans and her haters, some who have labeled her "slow" and in Sharon Osbourne's case, looking like a hairy a**sehole."
Well, Susan had a flub today on American TV, "The View" where she lost pace in the song on live feed.
On Tuesday’s episode of “The View” Boyle, 49, was singing the Christmas carol “O Holy Night” when she coughed and lost her place in the song.
She stepped away from the microphone and asked producers if she could start the song over. “View” co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd were kind and helped smooth over the moment as Shepherd said kind things to her to ease the tension.
