James Franco mania struck the normally sedate studio setting of Bravo's least glitzy series, "Inside the Actor's Studio."
TMZ reported that it was standing room only as 250+ Franco fans went crazy when the actor who dabbled in soap opera arcs appeared at the Manhattan-based studio to film the show.
Host James Lipton, usually non-plussed by his celebrity interviews said, “Seventeen years filming this show and I’ve never heard a sound like that before” regarding audience cat calls.
Franco recently wrapped a serial killer/artist arc on ABC's soap, "General Hospital," and is the lead in Danny Boyle's film, “127 Hours,” based on the real-life story of mountain climber Aron Ralston.
Franco’s interview is slated to air next month on Bravo.
