The Prince of Wales is making a rare American TV appearance.
In an NBC News exclusive primetime interview, Brian Williams travels to Northern Scotland to sit down with Prince Charles for an in-depth conversation and candid look into a private life the public rarely gets to see.
The hour-long interview, set to air on Friday, Nov. 19 (9:00 PM/ET) on "Dateline," sees Prince Charles talk about being The Prince of Wales; his relationship with his sons, William and Harry; the prospect of another royal wedding; feeling misunderstood by the media; and his efforts to prevent global warming and why he wants to be "the defender of nature."
The interview will air before the network's airing of "Harmony" (10:00-11:00 PM/ET), a feature film and television special documenting The Prince of Wales efforts to combat climate change and find innovative solutions to the global environmental crisis.
The interview and special air during NBC Universal's annual "Green Week," which is part of NBCU's ongoing environmental initiative, "Green is Universal."
