"30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan stars in his first comedy special on HBO.
Tracy Morgan: Black And Blue comes this November 13.
Taped before a live audience at the Apollo Theatre in New York City in September, "Black and Blue" features the comic’s observations on such subjects as the difference between white and black culture, drugs, meeting President Obama, white rage, airport profiling, terrorism and sex.
“The special is going to be all the elements: fire, water, earth, air, the comedy bender, the Avatar of comedy experience,” says Morgan.
Morgan was a cast regular on “Saturday Night Live” from 1996 to 2003. In addition to headlining his own series, “The Tracy Morgan Show,” he has starred in such films as “Death at a Funeral,” “G-Force,” “First Sunday,” “Cop Out,” “Superhero Movie” and “The Longest Yard.” Morgan received a 2009 Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for “30 Rock,” along with three NAACP Image Award nominations for Supporting Actor.
