Yes! Kenny effing Powers will get a chance to get April back!! HBO Sunday night comedies Eastbound & Down and Bored to Death are back for season three.
HBO is cementing their Sunday night line-up, with the anchor drama "Boardwalk Empire" already renewed for a second season.
"Eastbound & Down" is a side-splittingly funny series that shows the self realization and reinvention of a bloated, washed-up major leaguer Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) who dons the fiercest mullet in all of TV dom.
The last episode ends with Kenny wrapping up his paternal (Don Johnson as Eduardo Sanchez, Kenny's dad) Mexican adventure, calling his love April, saying he is coming for her.
Hats off to the brilliant usage of Eduardo "Piolin" Sotero as a guest star this season. Also Don Johnson as Eduardo Sanchez, Kenny's dad, was flat out brilliant.
"Bored to Death" is a quirky comedy created by Jonathan Ames. With Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, Ted Danson and Heather Burns.
So happy to see Mary Kay Place as Kathryn (Big Love) in a juicy role torturing Ted Danson's character George at work.
Bored to Death and Eastbound & Down air on HBO Sundays at 10pm/9pm central and 10:30pm/9:30 central respectively.
