Actor Harrison Ford stops by Jay Leno's chat show tonight, and "Roast" comedian Whitney Cummings brings some bawdy humor. International sensations Gogol Bordello perform.
Fresh from a blistering performance at Austin City Limits Music Festival, Gypsy Punk rockers Gogol Bordello make a stop on their North American tour to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Tune in tonight to see them perform 'Pala Tute' from their newly released album Trans-Continental Hustle (American Recordings). The album, produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, also features the single 'Immigraniada (We Comin' Rougher),' the video for which tackles the issue of global citizenship and immigrant rights.
"Through our music and travels, we've become the unofficial ambassadors for immigrants around the globe," says Eugene Hütz. "We wanted this song to be somewhat anthemic for our fans, in a generational sense, and to support the movement of world citizenship as an antidote to the reactionary global politics that separate communities world-wide."
Gogol Bordello's "We Comin' Rougher" North American tour kicked off October 6 and runs through November 4. The band plays Los Angeles's Club Nokia tonight, followed by dates in Oakland, Chico, Eugene, Portland and Seattle.

JAY LENO’S MONOLOGUE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2010
GOOD NEWS, EVERYTHING IN CHILE IS GOING WELL. THE LAST MINERS ARE BEING BROUGHT UP AS WE SPEAK. IT’S ALL THANKS TO THE ENGINEERS, THE TUNNELING, THE DIGGING THEY DID. THOSE ENGINEERS HAVE SAVED MORE MINORS THAN CHRIS HANSEN ON "DATELINE'S TO CATCH A PREDATOR."
I MENTIONED THIS LAST NIGHT, THAT THE NOBEL PRIZE FOR ECONOMICS WAS AWARDED TO THREE ECONOMISTS. SHOULD WE HAVE EVEN GIVEN ONE OUT THIS YEAR? IF THERE'S ONE THING WE'VE LEARNED THE PAST TWO YEARS IT'S THAT THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS AN EXPERT IN ECONOMICS.
THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION HAD LIFTED THE SIX-MONTH BAN ON DEEPWATER DRILLING IN THE GULF OF MEXICO. THEY CAN GO BACK TO DRILLING PROVIDED THAT THE OIL COMPANIES FOLLOW THE NEW SAFETY REGULATIONS. FOR EXAMPLE, UNDER THE NEW RULES THERE HAS TO BE AT LEAST ONE SOBER PERSON ON THE RIG AT ALL TIMES.
A NEW STUDY IN THE BRITISH JOURNAL OF PSYCHIATRY REPORTS THAT THE AMOUNT OF MEMORY LOSS YOU HAVE FROM SMOKING MARIJUANA DEPENDS ON THE QUALITY AND TYPE OF THE MARIJUANA YOU SMOKE. FOR EXAMPLE; IF YOU CAN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING I JUST SAID YOU’VE GOT THE GOOD STUFF.
WHILE HE WAS IN LONDON, JOHNNY DEPP SURPRISED SOME GRADE SCHOOL KIDS WHEN HE SHOWED UP UNANNOUNCED AT THEIR SCHOOL DRESSED AS A PIRATE. THE KIDS WENT CRAZY, THEY WERE THRILLED. WELL SURE IT WAS JOHNNY DEPP. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, TRY SHOWING UP AT A GRADE SCHOOL UNANNOUNCED DRESSED AS A PIRATE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU. IT’S NOT GOING TO WORK. IT ONLY WORKS IF YOU’RE JOHNNY DEPP.
