Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is a guest on TV5MONDE USA’s news show L'Invité (The Guest) this Monday, October 11, 2010 at 6:30pm / EDT

On October 6, Blair joined The Late Show with David Letterman hawking his controversial memoir, A Journey.

Letterman asked Blair about former President George W. Bush. Letterman says, "In the book you have flattering things to say about George Bush in an area that I was surprised by, in terms of his intellect."

Prime Minister Blair said,  "I remember back in the 1980s, people - particularly on my side of politics, the progressive side - used to say that Ronald Reagan was an idiot, and of course that was never true. You don't get to this position by being a fool."

As part of his visit to Paris, Tony Blair will be the guest of TV5MONDE USA’s L'Invité.  The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom will reply to questions posed by the magazine show’s host: Patrick Simonin.

TV5MONDE USA aims to bring the U.S. audience programming that includes new and classic French-language films, documentaries, event coverage and international news shows.
