Sons of Anarchy tops at FX, season four announced

Praise the Sons and pass the ammo, the geniuses at FX have wisely re-upped the best show on the network.

"Sons of Anarchy"  will be back for season four.

The meaty, visceral delicious drama starring Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Kim Coates, Ally Walker, Mark Boone Junior, Dayton Callie, Ryan Hurst, Theo Rossi, Maggie Siff, William Lucking and so many fantastic actors is basic cable’s #1 scripted series among adults 18-49.

This season the Sons have taken an international twist as Abel, Jax's (Hunnam) son was spirited away by Cameron of the IRA, and now the child is in danger of being farmed out in a Catholic adoption by a bad priest (James Cosmo) who is an IRA terrorist too.

Eight all-new episodes remain in SOA’s current third season airing Tuesdays at 10pm et/pt, and beginning in two weeks the encore runs will air Tuesdays at 11pm and 1am, Fridays at 10pm and Sundays at 10pm. The third season finale will air on Tuesday, November 30.

Next Tuesday, October 12, 10pm et/pt, "Sons of Anarchy" will air “The Push,” the Sons of Anarchy must handle a rat at St. Thomas to protect their territory.

Sons of Anarchy is the brainchild of Kurt Sutter who also serves as a player in SAMCRO (Otto) and is Executive Producer along with John and Art Linson.
