Bristol the Pistol's mom Sarah Palin's chilly reception on 'DWTS,' video

No one is making it official, but the captured video of the night on ABC's hit series "Dancing with the Stars" caught a moment that revealed an audience who was not so enamored of contestant Bristol Palin's mom, guest Sarah Palin.

In the YouTube clip embedded below, co-host Brooke Burke interviews Derek Hough and Jennifer Grey after their performance, when a chorus of boos break out. Hough looks over and notes the booing, confused, and Burke says, "There's booing in the ballroom. I don't know why."

Cut to host Tom Bergeron and the ex Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, who said the dancers were "amazing" as Len and a less than exuberant Bruno looked on from the judges' panel. 

Sarah's reaction was a cheerful visage and enthusiastic responses to Bergeron's questions.

"This is amazing. It's so exciting," she said. "It's great to see all the courage and joy and exuberance by all the judges."

Derek Hough and Jennifer Grey received a 24 out of 30 for their dance, the highest of the night.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas scored 22 out of 30 points for their quickstep.
