Jon Stewart returned to "The O'Reilly Factor" Wednesday for a spirited discussion with FOX news senior pundit, Bill O'Reilly.
O'Reilly broke the ice with Stewart with his "Obama remorse" question, and Stewart replied, "I agree with the sentiment that he ran as a visionary, and he's led as a functionary."
In good fun, Stewart prodded Harvard-educated elitist O'Reilly telling him to stop playing the 'folks" card.
O'Reilly noted he has been knocked off the pedestal as the main object of hatred by liberals, replaced perhaps with more vocal and emotional news' personalities like Glenn Beck.
O'Reilly tells Stewart, "Isn't it interesting that a couple of years ago I was target No. 1? Now I'm like 15 on the list. ... Did I lose my edge or have I been overtaken by brighter people?"
In a behind the scenes roundup, the NewYorkDailyNews.com reports:
"He's very fast, he's very quick," O'Reilly tells a reporter of Stewart later, "so I have to be on my game, or he's going to make me look like a schmuck."
