'Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?' premieres Sept. 20

The TV gameshow “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” returns for season two of syndication on Monday Sept. 20th. 

Twentieth Television announces that the syndication return of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”

The show is set for September 20th (5-day-a-week broadcast syndication) and each will return with new episodes on October 5th on MyNetworkTV (every Tuesday night).

Kicking off the season is Country Music Week on CMT featuring Laura Bell Bundy, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Craig Morgan and Trailer Choir.  Check local listings.

Craig Morgan – Sept. 20

In addition, “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” will return 5-nights-a-week on CMT.

From Mark Burnett, “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” is a humorous game show that measures adults' lack of knowledge – as revealed by how much they've forgotten since grammar school.

Blue Collar comic Jeff Foxworthy hosts the half-hour as grownups find themselves in a classroom setting, revisiting their youth, as they tackle subjects they were taught years ago ranging from art to geography and math to social studies. 

In the classroom this season, country music superstars, Joan Rivers, Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel, Bill Engvall, Chris Harrison, Dr. Drew, Holly Robinson-Peete, Boyz II Men, the Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus performers, and the Harlem Globetrotters are among the special guests playing for charity.
