PBS Kids’ big fall premieres begin with The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That premieres Labor Day, September 6.
Voiced by award-winning actor Martin Short and based on the acclaimed The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library book series, Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat guides friends Sally and Nick on fun-filled adventures where they make natural-science discoveries.
"Curious George" also launches its 5th season on Labor Day.

Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat guides friends Sally and Nick - with a little help from the Fish, Thing 1 and Thing 2 - on fun-filled adventures where they make natural-science discoveries, from how bees make honey to why owls sleep during the day. Filled with both adventure and silliness, the series is based on the acclaimed The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library book series, will appeal to preschoolers' natural curiosity, and engage them in the process of scientific exploration and discovery.
CURIOUS GEORGE: Season 5 Premieres Labor Day, September 6 on PBS KIDS (check local listings)
Hot on the heels of his 2010 Emmy Award win for “Outstanding Children’s Animated Program,” CURIOUS GEORGE premieres an all-new fifth season Monday, September 6 on PBS KIDS! (check local listings).
Season 5 will introduce preschoolers to social science concepts such as transportation (George takes a trip on the subway), trade (George learns to barter), and culture (George meets a Vietnamese family and learns about their food). Season 5 will focus specifically on Hispanic culture through the introduction of George’s new friend, 8-year-old Marco, who plays in his family’s Pan-Latin band.
In the Season premiere episode, “George and Marco Sound it Out,” Marco and George learn about sound and acoustics. In addition to these new initiatives, the series continues its educational mission: to inspire kids to be curious and explore science, math, and engineering in the world around them.

Season Three debuts on September 13
WG continues its tradition this fall of introducing quirky characters voiced by quirky comic actors. New episodes will feature Patton Oswalt (as Tobey), Jeffrey Tambor (as Mr. Big), Amy Sedaris (as Ms. Davis), Kristen Schaal (as Victoria Best) and John Henson (as Captain Tangent). Watch and listen later in the season for appearances by comedy icons Tim Conway and Ed Asner.

Celebrating a decade of commitment to a love for reading, the series continues to introduce key literacy skills to children between the ages of three and seven through entertaining and educational content. In the all-animated premiere episode, “Three More Little Pigs & The Ants and the Grasshopper,” Lionel, Leona, and the Wolf each try their hand at writing a sequel to The Three Little Pigs, and Leona finds a way combine work and play.
Additional all-new episodes follow the literacy-loving Lion family (and friends) as they explore a variety of topics including art, transportation, animal homes and pets.
SESAME STREET: Season 41 Premieres Monday, September 27 on PBS KIDS

In a very special premiere episode, Arthur and the Elwood City gang meet Lydia Fox—a new character created by ARTHUR/All Kids Can Character Search winner Connor Gordon—who comes to life in “The Wheel Deal.”
Brain has to spend some time using a wheelchair after an injury--his plans to compete in a basketball tournament for charity may be dashed!! Luckily, his new friend, Lydia, who happens to be a wheelchair basketball player, shows him how it’s done. Also new this season, Muffy and Francine make a movie and D.W. plans a unicorn wedding.
