Dancing With the Stars may be minus one amazing dancing sea Captain from "Deadliest Catch," (Sig Hansen) but the pros (minus Edyta Sliwinska) were paired with the stars who plan to hoof it this season on ABC's dance reality show.
Monsters and Critics will be there of course, reporting from the makeup trailer with the awesome Emmy winning and multi Emmy nominated makeup team headed by Melanie Mills, featuring her crack team Zena, Patti, Nadege, Angela and Barbi. On Good Morning America the pairs were announced:
Jennifer Grey Derek Hough: Our personal picks as front-runners, She danced with the great Patrick Swayze in "Dirty Dancing" and we think his positive energy will be with her for this effort.
Bristol Palin Mark Ballas: She promises to dress like Chloe Sevigny's character on Big Love, so it ought to be a good time.
Brandy Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Hmm. Maks is awesome but Brandy has had a rough time of it last few years, fatality car wreck, money woes, suing the Kardashians...
Margaret Cho Louis Van Amstel: Louis loves les Fierce Femmes! Cho is lovely and we will get to see her amazing tattoos - quite colorful and floral, very prominent on her arms, chest, legs and back.
Audrina Patridge Tony Dovolani: I am sorry- we love Tony but this one, a reality TV fluke.
Florence Henderson Corky Ballas: This years Buzz/Cloris! She was Mrs. Brady, 'nuff said. Corky is a terrific partner too.
Mike The Situation Sorrentino Karina Smirnoff: They will be competition for Jennifer Grey, unless The Situation has two left feet.
Kurt Warner Anna Trebunskaya: An athlete and a Russian diva, good times!
Rick Fox Cheryl Burke: Hes so tall and she's so short! It will be interesting.
David Hasselhoff Kym Johnson: These two are good dancers! Comeptition too for Jennifer. The Hoff can cut a rug.
Kyle Massey Lacey Schwimmer: I love Lacey, she is athletic and always inventive.
Michael Bolton Chelsie Hightower: The May/December pairing, too soon to know if the soulful musician can dance too.
