Picture Perfect Marc Anthony, Sara Gilbert on HawthoRNe this week, preview

TNT's "HawthoRNe ramps up the hospital drama with Marc Anthony and Sara Gilbert this week.

Anthony will portray a New York Detective, Nick Renata, who is in Richmond investigating a kidnapping and also falls for Smith's character.

Premise of this week's show is the fallout of a critical situation involving Hawthorne's daughter, Christina who turns to Det. Nick Renata (Marc Anthony) for help. Elsewhere, Kelly searches for a mourning mother’s camera; Erin and Christina butt heads over Tom’s career; and Steve is haunted by a past figure.

Sara Gilbert also guest stars.

Anthony recently starred in 'El Cantante' as Héctor Lavoe in 2007. He also appeared in Paul Simon's 1998 stage musical, 'The Capeman.' He is currently on tour, promoting his new CD 'Iconos,' which was released in May this year.

The series also stars Michael Vartan as Dr. Tom Wakefield, Richmond Trinity's Chief of Surgery who helped Christina's husband during the last stages of his cancer; Suleka Mathew as Bobbie Jackson, a fellow nurse and one of Christina's best friends; David Julian Hirsh as Ray Stein, a nurse struggling with being accepted in a female-dominated profession; Christina Moore as Candy Sullivan, a nurse with a patriotic sense of duty; Vanessa Lengies as Kelly Epson, who continues to find her footing as a nurse; and Hannah Hodson as Christina's daughter Camille.

“Picture Perfect” Season 2 Episode 9 which airs on Tuesday August 17 2010 at at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT.
