America's Got Talent Wild Card week, plus Rimes, Angel

The Wild Card acts will make for an interesting "America's Got Talent" this week.
The show stars Nick Cannon as host, and Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan as the celebrity panel of judges. The series is a competition for a variety of acts including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all vying for their chance to strut and perform on stage hoping to win $1 million prize.
NBC announced that summer's top-rated series will bring back 12 acts from earlier this season to perform again in the wild card show live on Tuesday, August 17 (9-11 p.m. ET).
In addition, Grammy-award winning superstar LeAnn Rimes and world-renowned mystifier Criss Angel will perform on Wednesday, August 18 (9-10 p.m. ET) and the four wild card acts continuing on in the semi-finals will be announced live.
The 12 wild card acts are:
Anna and Patryk – New Hyde Park/Maspeth, N.Y. (Ballroom Dancers)
CJ Dippa - Denton, Texas (Rapper/Dancer)
Connor Doran – Bend, Ore.(Kite Flyer)
Doogie Horner - Philadelphia, Penn. (Comedian)
Harmonica Pierre - Tucson, Ariz. (Harmonica Player)
Kruti Dance Academy – Atlanta, Georgia. (Traditional Indian Dancers)
Michael Grasso - Cape May, New Jersey (Magician)
Michael Lipari & Ashleigh Dejon – Los Angeles (Aerialists)
RNG - Seattle (Girl Hip Hop Crew)
Rudi Macaggi - New York City (Circus Acrobat)
Swing Shift Side Show – Las Vegas, Nev. (Traditional Side Show)
The Hot Shot Tap Dancers - Portland, Ore. (Sibling Tap Dancers)
Rimes will perform her new single “Swingin’” from her upcoming album "Lady & Gentleman," which is due out on October 5, 2010. Criss Angel is the most-watched magician in Web history and a YouTube sensation with over 34 million views of his “Walk on Water” clip alone. Angel has received numerous awards for his work, including being the first-ever six-time recipient of Magician of the Year as well as Magician of the Century, Magician of the Decade and Innovator of the Decade.
Angel has also been tireless in his efforts to help children through his BeLIEve Foundation "BeLIEve Anything is Possible - A JDS Foundation" and has received Magical Wish Granter of the Year Award as well as the Chris Greicius Celebrity Award for his work and dedication to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
