Why reality TV show oddity Tila Tequila would book herself to appear in front of a bunch of allegedly hopped up Insane Clown Posse fans is bewildering at best.
Tequila, who turned a respectable career as a reality trainwreck celebrity and devolved it into an F-Listed "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" existence, appeared onstage at the Illinois music festival "The Gathering of the Juggalos" and was summarily booed, pelted and chased off stage.
First rule of stepping out on a stage: Know your audience.
The festival hosted the likes of Insane Clown Posse, Kottonmouth Kings and other alternative hard core rock and rap acts.
"Dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage and they even took the sh*t out of the port-o-potty and threw sh*t and piss at me when I was onstage," Tila lamented to TMZ.com
Her entourage whisked the bleeding reality TV queen off the stage, but that ignited a full-fledged chase to her trailer, where the crowd allegedly began to attack the vehicle and break glass windows.
"Since their security sucks, the two thousand people ran after us, trying to kill me," Tequila told TMZ. PHOTOS
Tequila famously had made a pregnancy announcement that never existed and made a spectacle of herself on Twitter when her girlfriend Casey Johnson died of diabetes. complications.
