Just when we thought she was out, Oprah brought her back in.
Comic-actor - chat show host - documentarian Rosie O'Donnell is returning to daytime TV with a show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.
Winfrey released the news this week promising Rosie O'Donnell fans can expect more of what we already know of Ms. O'Donnell.
The show is rumored to be similar in premise to the Bonnie Hunt Show minus the desk, a blend of light comedic moments and heavy emotional interviews and features.
In Sept. 2006, O'Donnell was part of ABC's 'The View,' and her contentious stay devolved into spats with the conservative panel member Elisabeth Hasselbeck and a highly publicized mudslinging affair between O'Donnell and Donald Trump. She soon left the show.
O'Donnell has kept busy with her documentaries about alternative families, and she has popped up on Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva,' 'Nip/Tuck' and the HBO comedy 'Curb Your Enthusiasm.'
