"Lone Star" is one of FOX's most anticipated fall dramas.
The series was front and center today at the TCA's in panel with a bonus clip (embedded below) as the panelists James Wolk, Adrianne Palicki, Eloise Mumford, Jon Voight, David Keith, Mark Deklin, Bryce Johnson, Kyle Killen (Creator/EP), Chris Keyser (EP), Amy Lippman (EP), Kerry Kohansky (EP), Peter Horton (EP) and Marc Webb (Dir/pilot) spoke to critics about the show.
"Lone Star" centers on a Texas oil-industry con artist who (borrowing a smidge from "The Riches" here) decides to assume his false life and (borrowing a bit from "Big Love" here) manage two different women and a double life.
Showrunner Kyle Killen told the critics this morning he "sold it as Dallas, without the cheese."
Our main man and "JR-esque" anti-hero is James Wolk.
David Keith and Jon Voight play his father and father-in-law respectively, and Adrianne Palicki plays the wealthier love interest of Wolk's character.
