Lindsay Lohan for Dancing with the Stars? Great idea

Can the Disco Ball prize instill a bit of self-confidence and pride in the struggling actress Lindsay Lohan's life?

Don't laugh, Mark Malkin of E! is on to something.  He blogs that the "Mean Girls" star is a top choice by one of the judges on the hit ABC dance competition.

The physical demands of the show are intense. Just what the doctor ordered for Lohan to get healthy and strong in a few short weeks.

Every season Monsters and Critics hangs with the Emmy award winning makeup artists Melanie Mills, Zena Shteysel, Patti Ramsey Bortoli, Barbi Fonte, Nadege Shoenfeld, Fiona Locke and Angela Moos, who collectively work Lourdes-sized miracles on the stars that filter in to the makeup trailer, I've seen it first-hand.

Lindsay would have a ball in the trailer, and she would do well to bond with a good group of people who don't want anything from her and help take her whole life in a positive direction.

Malkin blogs that judge Carrie Ann Inaba is hoping the actress is past of the new crop: "Lindsay is my No. 1 pick, I want her so bad!"

Inaba shared with Malkin that this would be a wonderful second chance and moment for Lindsay to show the world she isn't defeated by substance abuse.
