"Kinsey" co-stars are reunited on Showtime's "The Big C."
Liam Neeson will re-team with fellow "Kinsey" co-star Laura Linney in one episode of the new Showtime series The Big C, premiering August 16th at 10:30 pm PT/ET.
The new series will follow "Weeds" and Neeson will play “Bee Man,” an eccentric character who Cathy (Linney) consults for a possible treatment for her terminal cancer.
Neeson has starred in some of the highest-grossing films of all time, including Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Batman Begins, and last year's blockbuster, Taken. Most recently, he appeared as Colonel John ‘ Hannibal’ Smith in the big-ticket summer remake of The A-Team, and last year’s Clash of the Titans.
Laura Linney is Cathy, a repressed suburban Minneapolis teacher, wife and mother who reclaims her life after a terminal cancer diagnosis. Oliver Platt stars as her immature, but well-meaning husband. Gabourey Sidibe plays a smart-alecky student in Cathy’s class. Recently announced co-stars include Cynthia Nixon and Brian Cox.
