“Dancing With The Stars” finalist and former *NSYNC member, Joey Fatone is back on the smallscreen, appearing on Oxygen's reality competition series.
A prom-themed week is set for an all-new episode of “Dance Your Ass Off” airing Monday, July 26 at 10pm ET/PT on Oxygen.
Contestants find their inner prom king and queen while getting ready to perform “jazz-funk” routines in front of this week’s guest judge, Joey Fatone.
Also, on Monday, July 26 at 9:30pm ET/PT, log on to www.oxygenlive.com as Corey talks about being part of the remaining six contestants as he hosts a live chat for the East Coast, while Adamme hosts on the West Coast.
This week, the remaining contestants remember the past and embrace the future by beginning to appreciate their new and improved bodies. A mile-run workout proves to be emotionally draining when the contestants are forced to exercise wearing vests containing all the weight they’ve lost this season. Realizing how far they’ve come, the dancers celebrate their healthier lifestyles and prepare for a night to remember at the “Dance Your Ass Off” prom.
The camaraderie in the house goes sour after one dinner, and rivalries are revealed and relationships are tested when Adamme confronts his biggest competitor, Latoya, causing a dispute in the house. At prom, while performing their “jazz-funk” routines, the contestants are tasked with mastering difficult dance tricks and incorporating them into their performances. Who will bring the funk and who will flunk out?
Fans can join the social dance party at dyao.oxygen.com for the official scoop on the contestants, host, judges, and experts. The site will feature blogs, photo galleries and videos from the series and will be tracking the week-by-week weight loss, so fans can follow the contestants’ progress. Fans can also get exclusive behind-the-scenes extras, including candid photos and extended elimination interviews, as well as fitness tips.
This 13-episode series is produced by Magical Elves with Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz and Charlie Haykel serving as executive producers. Lisa Ann Walter conceived the original “Dance Your Ass Off” and is also an executive producer along with Kate Rigg.
