Cancer survivor Andy Whitfield is to make his first public appearance since battling the disease at next week's Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California.
Whitfield's first Comic Con is underway as he joins his Spartacus: Blood & Sand castmates to chat about the future of the hit TV series.
Whitfield, who plays Spartacus on the show, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year resulting in a reschedule of production for the second series of the show, filmed in New Zealand.
Andy is now in the clear according to Starz and the actor is already training to get back in shape for the demanding role, with plans to enroll in boot camp sessions this month.
